Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., mahogany 8 day, time and strike tambour mantel clock, c1910
CONDITION:
This unusual tambour variation is not shown in Ly but has a signed movement and dial. The thick beveled glass is fine, the porcelain dial has just a small chip on the 12. The glossy refinished case has a crack around the entire drum head and on one curved side but appears to be stable now. The round movement, with its jeweled exposed escapement, ticks and strikes.
